Workshop on Active learning by Mrs. Sheila Bhattacharya – Education consultant in language and social studies.
“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin
Teachers were apprised about how Active learning is an interactive and engaging educational experience that encourages participants to take an active role in the learning process, think critically about the material instead of passively absorbing information enabling the students to analyze, evaluate, and synthesize information, building on their problem-solving abilities.
The teachers were engaged in a lot of interactive, enjoyable hands-on activities. The workshop focused on developing essential skills that help in preparing students for future success through real-world application and adaptability.
