A Shift from Teacher to Educator

A workshop on “A Shift from Teacher to Educator,” led by Ms. Sheela Bhattacharya was conducted on Monday, June 3, 2025. The session was truly enlightening and emphasized the critical role of continuous learning and reflective practice in our teaching journey.

Ms. Bhattacharya focussed on how to embrace feedback and adapt teaching methods to create engaging, student-centered classrooms. She stressed on active learning strategies such as Think-Pair-Share, Jigsaw, and the Muddiest Point technique. These innovative approaches not only promote student participation but also deepen understanding, creating a more interactive and dynamic learning environment.

The session inspired and motivated the teachers to adapt to continuous evolving of teaching learning practices to keep pace with the changing trends in education and  create a vibrant educational experience for our students.
